How I Started an Online Business
I started with an Ebay business which I did for about seven years. It was hugely successful, but a ton of work!
I shipped 100-200 items per day out of my home, had huge amounts of inventory to deal with, customer service emails constantly, and I never got a day off.
Toward the end, I was working nights and weekends and a vacation was out of the question. I was so proud of my business and so proud of my success. But I also wanted a life!
That’s When I Discovered Affiliate Marketing
In 2013, I got online to look for something else. Some other online business from home WITHOUT all the work and endless hours.
That’s when I discovered there was a thing called affiliate marketing. I bought a course and thought I was on my way!
Unfortunately, the course was a scam and I ended up wasting a lot of time and money. I gave up and continued with my Ebay business.
Wedding Bells!
In 2015, I got married. That’s when I decided I really (really, really!) didn’t want to continue working nights and weekends. And I wanted to be able to go on vacations with my new husband.
So I decided to check into affiliate marketing again. I had been excited about affiliate marketing. It seemed like something I’d enjoy doing and that I could be good at.
Wealthy Affiliate
Luckily, I found training again and this time it was no scam! I signed up with a company called, Wealthy Affiliate, and they taught me how to do affiliate marketing the right way, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
Affiliate marketing has been my full-time job since 2015 and I couldn’t be happier.

That’s what I did. I started in August of 2015, took several free classes and decided I definitely wanted to keep going! I upgrade to the Premium Membership that November and I’ve been a Premium Member ever since. I pay annually to save money.
